bad at sentences is a private story-writing game for groups of friends. This page says what the game keeps.
Names, sentences, and chat
There is no account and no password. The name you type is held in memory on the game server for that room, along with the sentences you write, your votes, your score, and chat messages. Other people in the room can see your name and chat messages, and they see your sentences once each round is revealed.
Leaving the room, or a restart of the game server, clears that room. Nothing from a game is written into a database. The Copy story button copies the finished story to your own clipboard; the site does not keep a copy.
This browser keeps a reconnect token and your name in session storage so a refresh can put you back in the same room. That entry is removed when you leave. It lasts only for the current browser session.
Server logs
The machine that hosts the site keeps ordinary connection logs: an IP address, the time, and the page requested. Those logs are used to run the site.
Children
bad at sentences is a game for people playing with friends. It is not directed at children under 13.
